Pariti Announces Partnership With NVIDIA on AI Training

Nairobi, Kenya — June 05, 2024 — Pariti today announced it has partnered with NVIDIA running a deep learning educational series with the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute to train over 2,000 developers on the African continent.

Pariti is focused on creating economic opportunities that increase GDP through entrepreneurship. It does so by reimagining capital and labor markets using a community and AI model to encourage collaboration rather than extracting resources. The company is also a member of NVIDIA Inception, a global program that provides support to cutting-edge startups.

Pariti’s deep learning educational series aims to train over 2,000 engineers in NVIDIA’s AI/ML stack, providing them with free certificates upon completion. This is significant for the African ecosystem, preparing talent for jobs now and the ever changing future.

This initiative will target university students in Kenya, Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria, giving them access to training through NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) programs. NVIDIA and DLI University Ambassadors will host the training.

There will also be opportunities for professionals in the Pariti network to join DLI workshops and master classes, creating a pipeline of professors and teaching assistants from their network willing to join the next training cohort and pass on their expertise.

In addition, Pariti will run a quarterly training with the DLI for developers on the content to get certified.

These initiatives will provide the target with valuable training that will significantly impact the quality of developers on the continent in the long term and provide them with opportunities to build projects and pitch to VCs.
